Dr. Jerry Newcombe will explore America’s 250-year-old experiment in self-government under God—a bold venture linking the Biblical concept of covenant, which helped shape the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Though Thomas Jefferson, the principle author of the Declaration, later distanced himself from orthodox (small “o”) Christianity, Dr. Newcombe will reveal Jefferson was neither a lifelong skeptic nor an advocate for a godless America.

Dr. Jerry Newcombe

Dr. Jerry Newcombe serves as Executive Director of the Providence Forum (founded by Dr. Peter Lillback—now a division of Coral Ridge Ministries, founded by D. James Kennedy), as well as a columnist and podcast host for Providence Forum. Jerry has produced a series of seven hour-long documentaries for Providence Forum on America’s Judeo-Christian roots—the Foundation of American Liberty series, and produced or co-produced more than 100 one-hour television specials. Jerry is the author or co-author of 33 books, at least two of which have been bestsellers and has appeared on numerous talk shows including Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher (4x), Janet Parshall’s America, Point of View, the Moody radio network, TBN, the Fox News Channel, etc. Jerry hosts a weekly radio program, “Vocal Point” on GraceNetRadio.com, His latest books are The Blessing of Liberty (co-written with Peter Lillback), American Amnesia, A New Birth of Freedom (D. James Kennedy Ministries), and The Unstoppable Jesus Christ (Creators). Jerry is senior pastor at New Presbyterian Church, Wilton Manors, FL. and is happily married with two children and three grandchildren. The Newcombes reside in South Florida.
