Having determined that our liberty comes from God, the Framers set about to delineate those liberties. The first 10 Amendments to the United States Constitution, called the Bill of Rights, clearly spells out the human activities that are not to be constrained by government. These liberties include the right to assemble with anyone for any purpose, the right to free speech, even if it is offensive, the right to the free exercise of religion, and the right to bear arms. We are also guaranteed the right to pursue any line of work or education we want, and we can live and have freedom to travel wherever we want.
