| The Rock Church Salt and Light |
 The Rock Church Salt and Light ministry has been active since October of 2007. The passage of SB777 and the overturn of Prop 22 was what fueled us to form a ministry to stand up for God's truth. In keeping with the Rock Church’s vision of engaging EVERY SEGMENT of society to evangelize all of San Diego, the Salt & Light Ministry (S&L) exists to do the following: + Pray for our nation, community, church. + Provide action alerts and give biblical perspective to current moral and public policy issues. + Influence and transform our culture by educating the people as to the true influence and large role Christianity has played in the founding of this Nation. Through a series of Christ centered messages and classes we will display God’s hand at work in securing our freedom and the blessings that we as a nation have received as a result of our unabashed faith in him. + EQUIP and work alongside pastors to ensure that they are informed and engaged to take action on biblical and moral cultural issues. + EQUIP the Christian to engage the governmental / historical SEGMENT of society, not as republicans or democrats but as Christians! Without violating 501©3 stipulations. + Help the Christian to think critically and most importantly develop and apply a Biblical worldview to the governmental sphere, voting and all social and cultural issues of the day. Recent Accomplishments + The Rock church S&L Ministry helped to collect nearly 15,000 signatures to get Prop 8 on the ballot. |
