Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church website, nor are we opposed to denominations, only to their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the body of Christ. We seek to unify believers in Christ by supporting moral issues that we can agree on in light of scripture. We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all. He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all that come to Him through Jesus Christ. We adhere firmly to the Biblical teaching of God’s sovereignty and man’s responsibility. We avoid any theological systems of belief that go beyond the written Word and thereby divide the body of Christ. We believe that our Creator is calling his brethren to be united together and of one mind and one heart for the sake of survival as a nation and that we must return to His Biblical Word of Truth which has been revealed for the common good of mankind. DOCTRINAL OVERVIEW:+ We believe in one God, three persons of one substance; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.+ We believe in the divine nature of Jesus Christ, who was both fully God and fully man. + We believe in the Holy Spirit who lives within us, giving us the power to live a holy life. + We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, infallible and without error. + We believe that man was created in God's image, but because of Adam's sin is depraved. + We believe that Christ died on the cross so that by faith in Him we are given salvation. + We believe that good works show evidence of our faith in Christ. + We believe that sanctification is the work of God in the life of the believer. + We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to all believers for edifying the Church. + We believe in the sacraments of the Lord's Supper and Baptism. + We believe in the personal return of Christ to receive His believers into eternal life. DOCTRINAL DETAIL:THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE: We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and the inerrant Word of God. We believe that all the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, and that they are the infallible rule of faith and practice. The Holy Bible contains all necessary truth to lead men and women into salvation (Psalm 19:7, Romans 15:4, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, II Timothy 3:15-17, II Peter 1:21).THE HOLY TRINITY: We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all. He is a loving and faithful God who is the Creator and preserver of all things. (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Jeremiah 10:10, 1 Timothy 1:17, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30). THE SON OF GOD: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten son, (John 3:16,10:33, Mark 1:1, Romans 1:4); conceived by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His Teachings; His substitutionary atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father in Heaven (Mark 16:19); His perpetual intercession for His people (Matthew 28:5-9; Luke 24:4-7): His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-13, Revelation 19:14-16) We believe that He is one and the same as God. He was fully human and fully God. MAN: We believe that mankind was created by God in His own image (Genesis 1:27), but because of Adam’s sin (disobedience) man inherits a corrupt nature that inclines him to do wrong (Genesis 3:6, 6:5; Romans 3:23, 5:12). Man is not capable of achieving a life without sin on his own (Proverbs 20:9, Romans 3:20, Galatians 2:16). Because man is created in God’s own image, we have a “God-likeness” which includes knowledge between right and wrong, the ability to choose which course we will take, and the responsibility for our actions, or our choices (Joshua 24:15, 1 Kings 20:40, John 17:17) SALVATION: We believe all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all of his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; John 5:24, John 14:6, Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5). We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the resurrection of those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, (1 Corinthians 5:3-6) and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29). We believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28). THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and guides us to the truth (Romans 8:9,13-14, I Corinthians 3:16; I Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18, Galatians 4:6). We believe that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (I John 4:16-17). HOW CAN I BE SAVED?You Can Receive Christ Right Now by Faith Through Prayer.Prayer is talking with God: God knows your heart and is not as concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer: Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life with you in Heaven. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Does this prayer express the desire of your heart? If it does, pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life, just as He promised. If you prayed that prayer, tell someone and then find a good bible believing church based on our Statement of Faith. Get involved in a bible study so that you can read what God has in store for your life. If you would like to email us that you have received Christ and share what location you are in, we will do our best to match you with a mentor and/or church in your area. Your personal walk with Jesus is what you put into it. The more you seek him with your heart and soul, the more he will be found. It is the most profound single action you can do with your life here on earth. May the Lord Bless you, and keep you. May He shine His light upon you and bring you peace. |
